    Rome Health Pediatrics welcomes Dr. Margaret Cooper

    Dr. Cooper has been practicing in the Mohawk Valley for more than 11 years. Dr. Cooper is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.  She earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, N.J., in 2012.

    Rome Health's Community Recovery Center is sponsoring a free community event on vaping prevention 5:30 p.m. Nov. 21st at Strough Middle School, 801 Laurel St. “Vaping Me Crazy” is presented by Michael DeLeon, who uses his former life of addiction and violence to help steer teens straight.  In the U.S., one in 10 middle and high school students use e-cigarettes. Parents are encouraged to attend to learn about the current drug trends and how drugs are being marketed to our youth.
