Rome Health is pleased to announce that Krislyn Flint, MD, FACOG is now accepting appointments at Rome Health Obstetrics & Gynecology, providing patients continued access to gynecological care while she prepares to transition to her permanent office later this year.
This temporary arrangement ensures a seamless experience for her current patients and opens the door for new patients to benefit from her compassionate, expert care. She will begin seeing patients Tuesday, June 17, at 1614 N. James St.
A board certified gynecologist, Dr. Flint offers comprehensive gynecologic care for women of all ages, with a special focus on helping women navigate the transition from pre- to post-menopause.
“Menopause is a significant and often misunderstood phase in a woman’s life,” said Dr. Flint. “Many women feel overlooked during this transition, and I want my patients to know they’re not alone. My goal is to provide care that is not only medically sound but also emotionally supportive—so every woman feels heard, understood, and empowered.”
Dr. Flint will perform a wide range of gynecologic surgeries at Rome Health, including minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures. Her surgical expertise includes treatment for conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding, and pelvic pain, as well as hysterectomy and other procedures to support women’s health at every stage of life. Her advanced training in robotic surgery allows for precise interventions with smaller incisions, faster recovery times, and less post-operative discomfort.
With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Flint is known for her personalized approach to women's health, delivering evidence-based care in a supportive, patient-centered environment. She previously served at Women’s Health Associates of Oneida Health from 2010 to 2025, and has held leadership roles, reflecting her dedication to both clinical excellence and innovation in healthcare delivery.
Dr. Flint earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, completed her residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University where she served as Chief Resident, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from SUNY Oswego.
