Rome Health is thrilled to announce the appointment of Megan Pazdur, R.T. (R) (ARRT) as the new Director of Medical Imaging. With 17 years of dedicated service at Rome Health, Pazdur brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care to her new role.
Pazdur’s journey in healthcare began right after high school. “I started in the Emergency Department as a ward clerk and nurse’s aide while attending x-ray school,” Pazdur shared. “After graduating, I joined Rome Health as an x-ray technologist, and it’s been my professional home ever since.”
Her long tenure at Rome Health has been driven by more than just proximity to home. Pazdur values the tight-knit community and the hospital’s ability to deliver personalized care. “As a smaller hospital, Rome Health allows us to provide exceptional care to our neighbors, friends, and community members,” she said. “Here, every patient is treated with the attention and compassion they deserve, something that can sometimes be lost in larger facilities.”
Pazdur’s ascent to Director of Medical Imaging follows a natural progression through the ranks. Starting as an x-ray technologist, she advanced to Medical Imaging Supervisor and later served as Operations Manager for the department. Her leadership experience and deep understanding of the department’s operations make her an ideal fit for this role.
