Rome Health Announces Temporary Parking Changes Effective September 15
Rome Health will implement temporary parking changes starting Monday, September 15, 2025, for approximately six weeks to accommodate construction. The parking lot between the new Main Entrance Parking Lot and Rome Health’s Main Parking Lot, accessible via North James Street, will be closed until mid-to-late November.
This closure supports the final stages of the first phase of the construction for the Kaplan Center for Surgical Services and ICU. Crews will complete essential underground work and enhance drainage in the visitor parking area near the Main Parking Lot. Upon completion, the lot will be repaved and reopened to the public.
Parking Guidance for Patients and Visitors
- Main Entrance Parking Lot (off North James Street): Use for services including Medical Imaging, Inpatient Care, Residential Health Care Facility, Cardiopulmonary Services, Endoscopy, Sleep Disorders Center, and Infusions.
- Oak Street Parking Lot (off Black River Boulevard): Use for Rome Health’s Medical Center services, including Primary Care, Gastroenterology, Bariatrics, Surgical Services, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and St. Joseph’s Cardiology.
- Emergency Department Visitors: Use the Oak Street parking lot entrance and proceed to designated Emergency Department parking spaces.
Rome Health encourages patients and visitors to plan for additional travel time to accommodate these changes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we enhance our facilities to better serve our community.
