Rome Health Community Recovery Center (CRC) has been granted to continue operations in a new temporary location. The Community Recovery Center was affected by the tornado that hit Rome earlier this month. Due to the damage to the building at 264 W. Dominick St, CRC has moved temporarily to Chestnut Commons Suite 106, located at 107 E. Chestnut St.
The Community Recovery Center provides outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults with substance use disorders. Outpatient treatment includes individual and group counseling. In addition, CRC offers significant other services to individuals negatively impacted by another person’s substance use disorder.
Director of the Community Recovery Center, Danielle Russell said, “We will start seeing patients in person for all services starting Tuesday, July 30.” The hours for CRC are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8a - 4p. Tues. and Thurs. 8a - 8p. Walk in appointments available for assessments Mon- Fri 8a - 10am.
Russell went on to say that the hope is that CRC will return to their old location in the coming months. Until then, if any has any questions or needs to make an appointment to please call 315.334.4701.
