Convenient Care Services

Primary care focuses on prevention, wellness, and managing your overall health. Services include annual physicals, preventative screenings, chronic disease management and coordinated access to specialty care throughout Rome Health.

Walk-in sick visits provide convenient care for minor illnesses and everyday health concerns without an appointment. Patients can be evaluated for symptoms such as colds, flu, sore throat, ear pain, minor infections, and other non-emergency conditions.

Physical exams help patients stay proactive about their health through routine wellness visits, preventative screenings, and early detection of potential concerns. Annual physicals also provide an opportunity to discuss health goals, lifestyle, and ongoing care needs with a trusted provider.

Women’s health services support preventative care and overall wellness through routine exams, Pap smears, screening mammograms, and coordinated follow-up care. Our team provides convenient access to essential screenings and services in a comfortable setting.

Screening mammograms are an important tool for the early detection of breast cancer, often identifying changes before symptoms develop. Convenient access to routine mammography helps women stay proactive about their breast health and overall wellness.

Ultrasound imaging provides a safe, non-invasive way to evaluate a variety of medical conditions using sound wave technology. On-site ultrasound services offer patients convenient access to diagnostic imaging close to home and work.

Walk-in X-ray services provide fast, convenient imaging without the need for a scheduled appointment. Patients can receive diagnostic imaging for injuries and other medical concerns. Provider's order needed for testing.  

EKG testing may be performed as part of a primary care visit when clinically needed to help evaluate heart rhythm and overall cardiac health. On-site access allows for timely assessment and coordinated follow-up care.

Lab collection services may be available as part of a primary care visit when additional testing is needed to support diagnosis, monitor chronic conditions, or guide treatment. On-site access helps make care more convenient and coordinated.

Vaccines may be offered during a primary care visit when appropriate to help protect against preventable illnesses and support long-term health. Immunizations are reviewed based on age, health history, and clinical recommendations.

Prescription orders can be sent electronically to the Rome Health Community Pharmacy to be filled and delivered to the Rome Health Convenient Care at Turning Stone for pick-up.
